Day 1 – Get to know the local area and find out all about Rio in our orientation before the welcome party and then out on the town
Days 2 to 4 –Learn Samba and Forro before exploring or relaxing on the beach. Sample traditional Brazilian food followed by fantastic live music – our team of Brazilian dancers will be there to ensure you practice your new dance moves!
Day 5 – See the sweep of Guanabara Bay from the top of the Sugarloaf, then relax on the beach at pretty ‘Praia Vermelha’
Day 6 – Paintbrushes ready, it’s time to Make Favela Art! Head down to Lapa after a rewarding day’s work to check out Rio’s world famous Friday night street party
Day 7 – Continue painting in Prazeres in the morning, before browsing Santa Teresa’s boutiques or watching the world go by in one of her friendly local bars before heading out to see one of Rio’s famous Samba Schools in rehearsal
Day 8 – Take a well earned day of rest, head out of the city to a beach backed by rainforest
Days 9 to 11 – Continue your work in the dance studio or up in the community, before visiting sights, beaches or shops...take an introductory lesson in Capoeira and make the most of Rio’s vibrant night life accompanied by our team of Brazilian dancers
Days 12 and 13 – View the city of Rio from the Cristo, before visiting the Lapa steps and meeting their creator Selaron
Day 14 – Depart for the airport – leaving your mark on the ‘Cidade Maravilhosa’
