Our dance classes are taught by a locally based, internationally acclaimed teacher and his team.
A member since childhood of some of Rio´s most illustrious Samba schools (Beija-Flor, Portela, Salgueiro), Marinho Bras is also a world leading Forró instructor, responsible for creating the style Forró Pé de Serra, now the most popular style of Forró danced in Rio and the South East of the country.
He is also a dance coordinator for the Feira de São Cristóvão (about 600,000 people attend per month), the co-ordinator for the project Semeando o Samba in Lapa and currently working on the development of a new style of Forró, Forró Cassino (similar to the salsa style Rueda Casino).
All dance lessons take place in a beautiful air-conditioned local dance academy.
