Itinerary
Day 1 - Orientation and a chance to get to know Santa Teresa, sample traditional Brazilian Caipirinhas made by the experts
Day 2/3 - Lessons in Samba and Forró before a leisurely stroll around the city or a trip to the beach then out on the town accompanied by our Brazilian Dance Team
Day 4 - Music, sun, sea, sand, Caipirinhas.. its the Christmas day beach party!
Day 5 - See Guanabara Bay from the top of the Sugarloaf, then get away from the crowds on ‘Praia Vermelha’ before an introduction to Capoeira
Days 6/7 - Samba and Forró lessons followed by a chance to explore the city or take a hike through the largest urban rainforest in the world, Tijuca National Park
Day 8 – Paintbrushes ready, it’s time to Make Favela Art! Head down to Lapa after a rewarding day’s work to see Rio’s world famous Friday night street party
Day 9 – Relax and pamper yourself at one of Rio’s fantastic salons in preparation for New Year
Day 10 – Dance lessons, free time, then a group dinner before heading to Copacabana beach or Sugar Loaf Mountain to party into the New Year
Day 11 – Rest and recuperate or continue the party!
Day 12 – Dance lessons, then visit the awe-inspiring Cristo and the Lapa steps (as featured in music videos and fashion shoots throughout the world)
Day 13 – Last chance to...sightsee, shop, relax on the beach...last chance to Dance!
Day 14 – Departure for the airport – refreshed and ready for 2009!
