Itinerary

Day 1 - Welcome to Rio!
Arrival, in-country orientation and a chance to get to know Santa Teresa. Sample traditional Brazilian Caipirinhas made by the experts and get to know the rest of the group at our Welcome Party before heading out to get your first taste of Brazilian nightlife at the famous weekend street party of Lapa
  
Day 2 - Free day for you to soak up the Rio atmosphere at your leisure. It may be Sunday but Rio is a city that hardly sleeps...choose from the more traditional party atmosphere of a Roda da Samba or a Behind the Scenes visit to a Baile Funk Party*
 
Day 3/4  - Dance lessons in Samba and Forró before spending the afternoon exploring the city from the cultural highlights of Centro to the hedonistic beaches of Ipanema. In the evening join our team of Brazilian dancers for a night out on the town to one of Rio’s famous Samba clubs
 
Day 5 - Experience the first of Rio’s world famous vistas from the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain, then relax at pretty ‘Praia Vermelha’
 
Day 6 –  Music, Sun, Sea, sand, Caipirinhas…its the Christmas day BBQ party!
 
Day 7 – Paintbrushes ready, it’s time to Make Favela Art! What better time than at Christmas to give such a lasting gift to the local community!
 
Day 8 -  Why not take a trip out to one of Rio’s less discovered beaches or for the more active a hike though the world’s largest Urban Rainforest –Tijuca National Park* In the evening it’s time to visit one of the famous Samba Schools located in the suburbs of Rio for the awe–inspiring sounds of a Samba School Rehearsal
 
Day 9 -  Take the chance to relax today and soak up the Rio atmosphere at your leisure
 
Day 10 - Back to the dance floor for Samba and Forró lessons. In the evening a chance to practice your new moves on the dance-floor accompanies by our Brazilian Dance Team
 
Day 11 - Visit the awe-inspiring Christ the Redeemer Statue (Cristo Redentor) and the Lapa steps (as featured in music videos and fashion shoots throughout the world)*
 
Day 12 - Free day for you to experience the many parties around the city in the warm–up to one of the biggest New Year Celebrations of the World, then head to the legendary Copacabana beach party to see in the New Year of a life–time!
 
Day 13 - Rest and recuperate or continue the party accompanied by our Brazilian dance team!
 
Day 14 - Departure for the airport, refreshed and ready for 2010!
